## In short

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Korean restaurant near Suwon City Hall Station in Ingye-dong, Suwon, serving the same hangover soup flavor familiar from Jeju Island. The writer ordered yangmuchim & dombe pork (₩20,000) alongside haejangguk (₩12,000, with glass noodles) and naejangtang (₩13,000, without), adjusting the broth with chili oil and pepper. With free rice refills and a portable charger service on hand, it made for a satisfying, generous lunch.

## A hearty meal near Suwon City Hall Station

I was looking for a hearty meal near Suwon City Hall Station and ended up at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch — the place is seriously spacious and clean!!

![Spacious, clean interior of Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-01-e7u5r-900.webp)

![View of tables and seating at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-02-1mn99-900.webp)

If you've traveled to Jeju Island, you've probably heard of this place or even visited it — it's famous there. So it was a nice surprise to find the exact same taste in Suwon!! I'd recommend it to anyone searching for haejangguk near Suwon City Hall Station, or a solid restaurant in Ingye-dong for lunch near Suwon City Hall!!

## What I ordered and the prices

On this visit I ordered yangmuchim (seasoned tripe salad) & dombe pork for ₩20,000,

![Yangmuchim and dombe pork set on the table](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-03-1tnfa-900.webp)

haejangguk for ₩12,000, and naejangtang for ₩13,000.

![Table setting with haejangguk and naejangtang together](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-04-40qt2-900.webp)

### The yangmuchim & dombe pork combo

First, the yangmuchim & dombe pork is a combo meant to be eaten together, and the yangmuchim was seasoned sweet and spicy, pairing well with the dombe pork.

![Plate of yangmuchim seasoned sweet and spicy](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-05-16fa4-900.webp)

The tripe's chewy texture came through nicely and the seasoning wasn't too aggressive, just enough to whet the appetite — a piece of dombe pork topped with yangmuchim worked really well together.

The dombe pork itself was clean-tasting and tender, making it a light, easy bite while waiting for the haejangguk.

## Haejangguk and naejangtang: the glass noodle difference

The main dishes, haejangguk and naejangtang, exceeded expectations too.

![A steaming bowl of haejangguk](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-08-1jqde-m-900.webp)

![A bowl of naejangtang packed with ingredients](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-09-v5xle-900.webp)

Jeju Eunhuine is so famous on Jeju Island that most people who've visited there have probably tried it at least once, and I was happy that the Suwon Ingye branch tastes almost identical!! The broth was rich and deep, with plenty of ingredients, so one bowl alone was filling.

The difference between the two menus was interesting too. The haejangguk has glass noodles in it,

![Close-up of haejangguk broth with glass noodles](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-10-gyv7n-900.webp)

while the naejangtang doesn't have any glass noodles,

![Close-up of naejangtang with only tripe, no glass noodles](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-11-qdbuk-900.webp)

so it's fun to pick based on preference. If you like glass noodles, go for the haejangguk; if you prefer a richer, tripe-focused flavor, I'd recommend the naejangtang.

![A spoonful of chewy tripe lifted from the soup](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-12-13klb-1200.webp)

The tripe itself had no off smell and a nice chewy texture, and eating it with the broth left my stomach feeling warm and settled!

## Adjusting to taste with chili oil and pepper

Another thing I liked was being able to adjust the soup to my own taste.

![Chili oil and pepper condiments on the table](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-13-zf22e-900.webp)

![Adding chili oil into the soup](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-14-1eqvx-900.webp)

You can add chili oil and pepper as you like, so I started with the basic flavor, then added chili oil for a spicier kick or pepper for extra aroma.

The haejangguk was already plenty tasty on its own, but personally, a little chili oil made the broth richer and spicier — just right for curing a hangover.

## Portable charger service and free rice refills

While eating, I noticed some surprisingly useful amenities — they even have a portable charger rental service here.

![Portable charger rental corner inside the restaurant](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon/suwon-ingye-haejangguk-naejangtang-dangmyeon-16-ubxhl-900.webp)

It felt considerate to be able to use it right away if your phone battery runs low during the meal. Plus, extra rice is free, so there's no hesitation about adding more rice when there's leftover broth or ingredients.

It's a genuinely welcome service for anyone wanting to eat a hearty meal.

## A good spread to share with a group too

Overall, with the yangmuchim & dombe pork, haejangguk, and naejangtang, the menu was varied enough to be great for a group to share. And I really liked how clean the basic table setting was!!! I think I'll be coming back :)

This is a great place to visit especially the day after drinking too much, or any day you want to warm up your stomach or need a hearty lunch. If you're looking for a good hangover soup spot near Suwon City Hall Station, I'd recommend it, and if you're after a solid restaurant in Ingye-dong, it's a good choice there too. It also suits anyone looking for a lunch spot near Suwon City Hall for a workday meal.

When I'm craving that same taste I had on Jeju Island, or on a day I really need to cure a hangover, this is a place I'd want to visit again.
