It was an American Chardonnay — the bottle literally said 'Buttery Chardonnay,' which already felt like my kind of wine haha. It wasn't the sharp-acidity style; it was smooth, rich, and really buttery, exactly my taste. Even if you don't know much about wine, it's worth telling the owner your preferences and asking for a recommendation. In the end, we added one more menu item — our second order was chamnamul octopus hoe (parboiled octopus with mineral herb)! The octopus was piled high with chamnamul (a fragrant herb), and the owner poured hot sauce right on top in front of us — it sizzled on contact, which was fun to watch. The brownie was much fluffier than I expected, not too sweet, and soft — really good. ## Is N.G.T worth a late night in Gileum? There aren't many late-night bars near Gileum New Town, but this place is open until 3am, so it's a great option whenever you want a late glass of wine or whisky, even solo.
