Having the broth definitely made the meal better. It was nice to sample every kind, and the fritters weren’t hard; they were crisp and tasty, like they’d just been fried. Fried snacks absolutely need tteokbokki sauce. The sauce is spicy, so it goes well with the rich fried snacks.
