The vibe felt upscale and nice, so it seemed like a great spot for a date or a blind date. The pickles seemed homemade and did a great job cutting through the richness of the Italian food. The soup exceeded expectations! It's a homemade corn soup, and it was so smooth and savory with the corn flavor really coming through. It felt like flat kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) style noodles, and the sauce stuck to it really well. Plenty of meat too! Meat lovers, rejoice🩷 I always thought ragu had to be red, so a cream ragu was genuinely refreshing. It's not heavy at all and the umami is insane!
