## Finding LOOOP Bakery near Seongsu Station Exit 4

LOOOP Bakery is a large three-floor bakery café near Exit 4 of Seongsu Station, at 9-13 Yeonmujang 5-gil. I want to tell you about a café I stumbled on tonight after going shopping in Seongsu-dong.

I was walking near Seongsu Station when the red ribbon exterior caught my eye and I basically got pulled in haha — it was amazing. I just meant to grab a coffee and some bread and rest for a bit, but I liked it so much more than expected that I'm writing this up right away.

## Three floors in Seongsu: how big is LOOOP Bakery?

The moment I walked in, my first thought was "whoa, this is big." Seongsu is usually full of small, cozy cafés, but this one is a large three-floor bakery café. The white-toned interior with generous table spacing didn't feel cramped at all. The staff kindly showed me to a seat, so I settled in comfortably.

The bakery showcase runs all the way from the entrance, and there were so many kinds of bread it was a happy dilemma figuring out what to pick. I heard some of the desserts are made by the owner personally, and I think that's why the quality felt a cut above.

## How the bread and coffee at LOOOP Bakery tasted

LOOOP's bread had that impressive crisp-outside, soft-inside texture. There were so many varieties, and none were overly sweet — just a gentle sweetness that didn't get tiring even after several bites. They also had several types of beans to choose from depending on taste, which I liked. The coffee had a nutty style with no sourness, so if you like nutty coffee like me, it should suit you well.

## Views and photo spots: each floor of LOOOP Bakery has its own mood

LOOOP has a lot of photogenic spots scattered around. The ribbon decoration by the entrance especially is a perfect photo zone haha. We visited at night so we didn't get to go up to the rooftop, but apparently the sky view is framed beautifully up there during the day, so I'm definitely going back in daytime next time. Each floor has a different seating vibe — the 1st floor feels lively, and it gets quieter and cozier as you go up.

With weather this nice these days, I bet the rooftop seats look really pretty. The staff mentioned that rooftop seats fill up fast on good-weather days, so keep that in mind if you're planning to visit. Spring and fall probably call for the rooftop, while winter or rainy days would be cozier on the 1st or 2nd floor.

Coffee and drink hours run from morning until dawn, so I was able to visit comfortably even late at night.

## What two people should order: 2–3 breads and a drink each

That day I picked a café latte and a few breads at LOOOP. The prices were about the same as other large Seongsu cafés, but the portion size and quality felt noticeably better. The latte was smooth and nutty, pairing really well with the bread, and picking a different bread each made for a great sharing combo. If you're going with someone, I'd highly recommend picking 2–3 kinds of bread with a drink each haha.

## Is LOOOP Bakery in Seongsu worth a late-night stop?

Overall it was a satisfying visit — the place was big and both the bread and coffee exceeded expectations. It was a bit of a shame not to see the rooftop since I went at night, but that just gave me a reason to come back, which was actually nice haha. Next time I'll visit during the day and come back with a post that includes the rooftop view!
