Neopttakjip Samsong Branch is about 100m straight from Samsong Station Exit 3, on the right. Being so close to the station makes it easy to reach by public transit. If you're driving, there is a lot, but it only fits about one car, so keep that in mind~ We got lucky that day — there was exactly one spot open, so we managed to park 😆 ## Mixed grill 600g: grilling pork neck first over charcoal Since eating just one cut felt like it wasn't enough, we ordered the mixed grill 600g + grilled vegetables (for 2) set. Being able to try four different cuts — neck, belly, hayansal, and kkodeulsal — all at once was great. And of course, a pork BBQ place needs charcoal 🔥 I loved it from the moment the fire came up hahaha. The pork came out looking thick and fresh, and I couldn't wait to start grilling. They put the thick neck meat on the grill first, and watching it sizzle over the charcoal was seriously mouthwatering 🤭 Once it was grilled to a nice golden brown, I took a bite — pork really does taste best fresh off the grill! Grilling each cut one by one, the textures were all a little different, so it was fun picking and choosing. The basic side dishes were also generous: aged kimchi, garlic scape muchim, pickled peppers, macaroni salad, and more. And you can use the self-serve side dish bar!! I especially love the garlic scape muchim, so eating it together with the meat was delicious haha. The pickled peppers were nice to munch on between bites of meat to cut through the richness.
