This is the story of Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch, a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station that's great for studying solo thanks to its plug-equipped study zone.

Lately I've needed to organize things I've learned for work as I go, but somehow I kept putting it off. Before I knew it, a whole month's worth had piled up... If I tried to do it at home I'd end up doing other things and checking my phone constantly, so I decided to just go to a café alone and knock it out with full focus.

This time I found Selecto Coffee near Sinnonhyeon Station. It has a study zone that's great for working on a laptop or studying alone, so I used it as my solo-study spot.

The exterior is in orange tones, so it was relatively easy to spot from a distance. It's also a nice place to drop by briefly if you have time to kill before or after meeting someone in Gangnam or Sinnonhyeon!

The main reason I came to Selecto Coffee this time was for solo studying. I needed to organize a month's worth of postponed work-related study material all at once.

Turns out this café has a dedicated study zone..! And of course there are outlets right beside it >.< The store has seats set aside specifically for solo use, and I settled into the study zone and got started on my organizing.

It was great for sitting alone with my laptop open, going through work materials and organizing them. The study zone desks are big enough for two people, so it felt super spacious for solo work 🤍 Best of all, there were other people studying or using laptops nearby, so I could focus without feeling self-conscious.

I didn't need to print anything this time, but it seems like it would come in handy if you suddenly need to print materials or check something on paper while studying.

I visited needing a space to focus alone and catch up on postponed work-related studying, and after actually opening my laptop in the study zone, I felt it was a solid environment for studying or organizing work alone.

Since it's a 24-hour café, it seems like a great place to focus if you suddenly feel like studying in the middle of the night, haha.
