At first, the black charcoal-colored balm texture felt unfamiliar, but I could see it turn transparent as I massaged it in. I used it by letting the balm melt down like an oil, then adding water to emulsify it. Even heavy makeup, including eye and lip makeup, came off after a few rounds of massaging.
