I came with my mom and my baby for weekday lunch (27,900 won) on a Naver reservation, parked the stroller beside a seat at the end of the window row, and worked through sushi, mala shrimp, an ube latte and marble ice cream. I hadn't been to Kuu Kuu since my student days, and honestly the variety felt even wider and the taste felt upgraded. Here's how the meal went! ## Where is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch? Hours and parking Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is on the 6th floor of a building at 247 Nowon-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul. The full price list Prices at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch are 27,900 won for weekday lunch, 31,900 won for weekday dinner, and 35,900 won on weekends and holidays. Elementary schoolers pay 16,900 won for weekday lunch, 17,900 won for weekday dinner, and 18,900 won on weekends/holidays, and preschoolers aged 36 months and up pay 9,900 won. We parked in the basement level and took the elevator up to the 6th floor. There's a separate elevator specifically for the basement parking level (at the far end), so watch closely which one you take — we got on the wrong one twice on our way out lol. Just so you know, the elevator directly across from the entrance does not go to the parking lot. I'll explain again at the end :) I visited with a Naver reservation and there was no wait that day. No worries about seats here — it seems like a great venue to book for reception events, first-birthday parties, birthday parties, and other family gatherings. We were seated at the end of the window row and ate comfortably with the stroller right beside us! ## Sushi and sashimi corner: rolls and gunkan There was a wide range of sushi, rolls, and gunkan (battleship sushi) — so many kinds that it took a while just to browse and look around. What stood out most was the ube latte. I'd heard it was trendy lately and went looking around trying to figure out what ube even is, and here it was at Kuu Kuu! The best part, fittingly for a sushi buffet, was definitely the sushi. For dessert, mom had a cool bingsu (shaved ice) and I scooped up fruit and marble ice cream! Marble ice cream has that premium feel from childhood, when it was too expensive to buy often — still delicious, haha. The fruit that day was disappointingly bland and not sweet at all, though. Still, with such a variety of food I kept craving, I ate really well for the price and quality! ## Finding the restrooms and the parking elevator at Kuu Kuu Nowon Lastly, for restrooms: go out the entrance and straight to the left for the women's restroom. Go right of the entrance for the men's. And about parking again — on the way to the women's restroom there's a sign that says 'store entrance' in the last photo, right? The elevator inside, across from that sign, is the one that goes to the parking lot! ## Is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch worth it with a baby? Kuu Kuu is great for family gatherings or whenever you want to enjoy a wide variety of food without much pressure! Beyond sushi, there are trendy dishes everyone — young and old — can pick according to their taste. There's even a playroom in the back for kids to play while adults eat comfortably, a win-win!
