I arrived at Jeongwon Galbi Gyeonggi Gwangju Branch on a beautiful sunny day! As you can see in the photos, many customers were already having their meal~ I went with my mom for a family meal, and I noticed a lot of other tables who seemed to be there for the same reason! There were so many delicious-looking menu items that I had a hard time deciding what to get! Since we were already there, we decided to order the beef mixed platter, which comes with a variety of cuts! The beef mixed platter consists of idong galbi + beef galbi-sal + fresh flower galbi. Now let me show you the beef mixed platter in detail~~ After a short wait, the beef mixed platter came out along with a variety of side dishes! First off, I loved that there were so many side dishes to go along with the meat! The beef galbi-sal had an impressively cleaner flavor~! It was chewy and so delicious! Oh, and that seasoned crab! After eating a bite of meat, having a bite of the seasoned crab that came as a basic side dish was such a great combination! haha I really felt again how important the side dishes are! After the fresh flower galbi and beef galbi-sal, having the sweet and delicious seasoned idong galbi made for a great combination haha. It was pleasantly sweet and the meat was tender to chew — it had been a while since I'd had idong galbi and it was so good~ We also had some zero-sugar cola along the way haha. Honestly, I was so full from the meat that I wondered if I could even eat doenjang jjigae, but of course it turned out to be the perfect way to finish the meal haha. A spoonful of the clean-tasting doenjang jjigae was refreshing and just right haha. It was a visit just with my mom, the two of us~ and we left having eaten the beef mixed platter until we were completely full! Jeongwon Galbi, a galbi restaurant in Gwangju, Gyeonggi where I got to enjoy delicious, varied beef! The beef was great, the tables were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, so I had a peaceful and enjoyable meal!
