It was my first time eating alone at such an upscale Japanese restaurant, so I was a little nervous, but the staff were so kind and made sure I could dine comfortably even solo ☺️ There are window seats for solo diners, so eating eel rice bowl alone is absolutely no problem. There's also group seating, so it looks like a great spot for gatherings too! However it's grilled, as long as it suits my taste that's what matters, and the eel skin was crispy while the inside was moist, so it disappeared in no time. Putting the eel on the rice with a little wasabi on top was the best bite. All my disappointment from not getting to eat eel rice bowl in Japan disappeared completely. Since it was my first time trying tea-flavored ice cream and it seemed unusual, I asked for the tea flavor. Even the ice cream was served on a plate, so it felt like being treated well right to the very end. I'm not usually a fan of strong tea flavor, but this wasn't too intense and had just the right sweetness, so I finished the ice cream happily too!
