When you're traveling, sightseeing matters, but finding a restaurant where both parents and kids can eat comfortably is honestly its own quiet stress. This time, everyone got to pick tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patty), makguksu or buckwheat pancake to their own taste, so it worked out really well as a spot for our three-generation family meal :) Hours are 11:00 - 20:00, closed Tuesdays. Since we were moving as a whole family, having enough parking space mattered a lot to us. There's a second lot right by the entrance too, so you don't even need to drive further in to find a spot. Most of all, my kid ate the tteokgalbi so well. She had it with rice and cleared her bowl, then ended up asking for an extra bowl of rice haha. If you like clean, refreshing flavors, the water makguksu will probably suit you well. ## My pick: the nutty bibim makguksu And my choice was the bibim makguksu (spicy mixed buckwheat noodles) :) They served the broth separately with the bibim makguksu, so I could pour in as much as I wanted while mixing. When you can slow down a little even after finishing a meal on a trip, that extra time becomes a good memory too.
