## In short

Marblejeong is a Korean beef grill restaurant in Seongsu, Seoul, near Exit 5 of Ttukseom Station, with a 56-seat hall plus small private rooms for 4, 5 or 8 and large rooms for 16 or 20. Two of us shared the 1++ Korean beef mixed grill, 400g for 159,000 won, served as sirloin, chuck flap and brisket, then ordered both cold noodles for dessert at 7,000 won each, and the mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup) won by a landslide. Between the staff grilling every cut at the table and the dedicated free parking lot, Marblejeong suits family gatherings and work dinners in Seongsu.

Last week my sibling and I went to try 1++ Korean beef at Marblejeong (마블정), a Korean beef grill spot in Seongsu. The restaurant has private rooms, which makes it great for bringing parents or older family members, and the place is big enough to double as a spot for family gatherings or work dinners.

The food and the vibe were both great, so here's a detailed review with the menu, parking, business hours, and more!

## How to find Marblejeong and where to park at Ttukseom Station Exit 5

Marblejeong is located near Exit 5 of Ttukseom Station. A lot of people looking for BBQ spots in Seongsu want somewhere with parking, and Marblejeong has its own dedicated free parking lot right next to the restaurant. They also said free parking is available at the 1st-floor Kia Auto Q lot after 6pm! With parking covered, you don't have to worry about driving over.

Once inside, a friendly staff member showed us to our table. On one side, meat was displayed beautifully mid-aging. A piece of eup-sal (rib cap) caught my eye, so I snapped a photo.

## Inside Marblejeong: 56-seat hall and private rooms that don't feel like a BBQ joint

Marblejeong's 56-seat main hall can apparently accommodate group events too. There were group guests on the other side of the restaurant, so I couldn't get a photo, but the space is very open with high ceilings — really spacious and airy. What especially stood out was the ventilation system, which pulls smoke down through the tables instead of up through the ceiling, so the interior didn't feel like a typical BBQ place at all — it felt upscale.

We were seated by the window. Besides the hall seating, they also have large private rooms (16-person, 20-person) and small private rooms (4/5/8-person), so I'd strongly recommend this place for family gatherings or work dinners!

They were also running an Asahi draft beer promotion. I really wanted one, but I'd had a Botox treatment that day so I held off on alcohol... sniff sniff.

## Marblejeong's menu and the 15,000 won lunch ssambap set

I ordered the 1++ Korean beef mixed grill 400g (159,000 won) that day. Besides Korean beef, they also serve various cuts of pork. Especially at lunch, they offer a ssambap (rice-and-wrap) set, so you can enjoy things like a jeyuk (spicy pork) set or a cold pork belly set for a reasonable 15,000 won. It comes with doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), ureong-ssamjang (river snail paste dip), seasonal wrap vegetables, and various side dishes, so I plan to come back to try the ssambap set next time.

Once you order the meat, a neat spread of side dishes arrives — salad, geotjeori (fresh kimchi), tangy myeongi-namul (wild garlic leaves), and pickles. For sauces, you can choose from salt, perilla-leaf pesto, and wasabi depending on your taste.

## The 1++ Korean beef mixed grill 400g: sirloin, chuck flap and brisket

Marblejeong's 1++ Korean beef mixed grill 400g comes with sirloin, brisket, and a chef's recommended cut. Lucky us — that day's recommended cut was chuck flap. Just looking at it, the marbling was insane.

They start by grilling the sirloin first. At Marblejeong, staff grill everything for you, which makes for a really convenient meal. Every menu item except the lunch ssambap set comes with this grilling service!

They cut the perfectly grilled sirloin into bite-size pieces for us. It's 1++ Korean beef grilled by someone else — need I say more? It melted in my mouth and the flavor was out of this world.

### One drawback at Marblejeong: the air conditioning cools the beef fast

If I had to name one drawback, it's that the AC in the restaurant makes the grilled meat cool down quickly. The meat cooled faster than we could eat it, so we ended up scarfing it down in a hurry. If you're a slow eater, I'd suggest letting the staff know ahead of time!

Second up, the chuck flap — the juiciness was insane. One bite and I couldn't stop making sounds of approval. It's a fatty cut, but I never felt like it was too much; it was just delicious.

Last was the brisket, dipped generously in the special sauce — so good. I don't usually love brisket, but this time I really enjoyed it. Best brisket I've had recently!!!

## Cold noodles for 7,000 won: why mul-naengmyeon wins

For dessert we ordered both the bibim (spicy) and mul (cold soup) versions of Marblejeong's cold noodles (7,000 won). Both were surprisingly delicious, but the mul-naengmyeon wins hands down. You have to try it — the broth is mild yet refreshing, cutting right through the richness of the 1++ Korean beef, and it was just... so good.

## Review perks and the 20% lunch discount at Marblejeong
