## In short

팩클리 RFID-Blocking Passport Wallet is a travel wallet from Korea for keeping family passports, cards, cash, and coins together. Filling all three passport slots made it thicker, but the writer found it convenient, and her son found it light and easy to use in Japan. Verdict: a useful all-in-one travel wallet, though the Japan coin holder is sold separately.

Wanting to keep the family’s passports together and pull them out easily when needed, I looked into the 팩클리 RFID-Blocking Passport Wallet. I checked out its storage, and my son took it to Japan and used it there.

## Why did I want to keep the family passports together?

On a previous overseas trip with my family, I had all the passports with me but couldn’t find the ones buried deep inside the suitcase, which gave me a hard time at the airport. After that, I kept them in the inner part of my backpack, but taking them out was a hassle every time.

This wallet caught my eye because it can hold passports, payment cards, cash, and coins all in one place. It seemed practical that I could pull out a passport without hunting for it separately, even in situations where it is needed for payment.

## Was it easy to take passports out and carry?

It came in black and khaki gray, and I chose black because it goes easily with my clothes. Rather than a zipper or Velcro, you just undo one strap to open the outside, which made it easy to take out cards and passports. It also came with a thin, lightweight strap, so I could wear it crossbody.

## How many passports and cards fit inside?

Inside, there were three passport slots and four card slots. There was also space at the bottom for an ID and cards, which looked like plenty of storage to me.

It did get thick when I filled all three passport slots. Still, I liked being able to store several family passports at once. Both the new and old Korean passport formats fit.

There was also a space in the middle for clipping in a pen.

## Can you separate bills and coins?

When you unfold the inside, there are two bill compartments. There is also a separate zippered pocket, so it seemed handy for keeping paper receipts or larger-denomination bills apart.

I thought dividing everything up this way would make it easy to find what I needed when paying.

There is a coin compartment in the wallet’s back pocket. I was told that a separately purchased Japan coin holder can also be carried in there. I did not buy the holder, but my son, who had been to Japan, said he had occasions to use coins and that it would have been even better if we had bought it together. I’m thinking of purchasing the coin holder next time.

## How does it close once everything is inside?

After putting in passports, cards, an ID, and bills, I wrapped the elastic band around the back to close it. It felt like the band held the contents securely, and closing it was simple too.

The description that its RFID-blocking feature could protect card information was also reassuring when I chose the product.

## What did my son think after using it in Japan?

It was said to weigh under 100 g, and when I held it, it was so light that I could barely feel any weight.

My son, who used it himself on his Japan trip, said it was simple and light, which put his mind at ease. I am also planning an overseas trip with acquaintances, so I felt I did well to set it aside as a travel essential.

I liked that it could gather not only passports but also cards, cash, coins, and hotel cards in one place. Still, it becomes thick when every passport slot is filled, and I did not get to try using it with the Japan coin holder this time.

Being able to wear it crossbody was convenient because I did not have to put it down even when eating or going to the restroom. For me, its most useful feature was being able to keep the things I need while traveling together in one place and on my body.
