There were several two-person tables, so there was a fair amount of seating. It was quiet inside when we visited, and some people were working. I felt it had an atmosphere suited to working or spending time talking together.

We chose an iced Americano, Pulse-nal Latte, and handmade crumble pie. The Americano had a light layer of crema and tasted rich and nutty without any burnt flavor.

## What does the Pulse-nal Latte taste like?

Pulse-nal Latte is a signature latte made by adding the sweetness of red beet to house-blended herbal milk. After mixing the coffee and milk layers well, a subtle herbal aroma came through.

At first, it felt unfamiliar because it differed from the lattes I usually drink, and it reminded me of an unusual latte I had in China. As I drank it, I kept reaching for more. It was not overly sweet, so it also went well with the pie.

## What are the texture and sweetness of the handmade crumble pie like?

The top of the crumble pie felt like all the crumble from the top of a soboro bread gathered together. It broke apart in the mouth while retaining its crisp texture, and underneath was plenty of moist, dense filling. The difference in texture between the two parts was distinct.

When I cut into it to eat, the crumble came tumbling down. Even eating the fallen crumble by itself, I could enjoy its crisp texture. It was moderately sweet for my taste and went well with the iced Americano.

This time I had the crumble pie, but I would like to try the handmade brûlée pie on my next visit. It was introduced as a pie with vanilla cream cheese filling, brûlée, and lemon zest on a cookie sheet. On this visit, I spent time at an unhurried pace with pie and signature drinks.
