The roe was pleasantly chewy and clung right to the mouth; this was the kind of soy-marinated crab you never get tired of, no matter how much you eat!! Very tidy, right? We finished with nurungji (scorched rice) ~!~! The savory sungnyung? Nurungji? soothed the stomach and was perfect for cleansing the palate. This was our first visit to Deodo Gejang. First of all, choosing the soy-marinated crab was a god-tier move. (I did not actually try the seasoned one, but if the soy-marinated version is good, the seasoned one must be good too.) Being able to have grilled fish and marinated crab together on one spread is a major advantage, and the nutrient pot rice was absolutely delicious. There was a wide variety of neat side dishes too, so I think it would be great for a family meal, a date, or a group meal. We had such a satisfying, clean, wholesome spread at Deodo Gejang—200 percent willing to revisit!!
