I used it by attaching the included magnetic sticker to my iPad case. The sticker adhered well to the stand's magnet, and it still rotated smoothly through 360 degrees with the iPad mounted. It did not feel wobbly while I used it. It was not uncomfortable to hold because of any sharp or angular edges. There was silicone on the bottom, and when I placed it down and pushed it side to side, it did not slide within what I tested.
