## Why I went to Bapjangin at Express Bus Terminal after days of greasy food

Bapjangin Express Bus Terminal Branch is a Korean restaurant specializing in jjaglie (thick stew) and sundubu (soft tofu stew) located in Unit 20, B1F of Seoul Express Bus Terminal. Lately I've been eating nothing but lamb skewers and pizza, all heavy stuff. SO. I came looking for Bapjangin to get some jjaglie for the first time in a while.

Ta-da! Wow,, it's been a while. Two bowls of rice, sundubu jjigae, and a plate of bulgogi. The rice is black rice served in brassware.

## How the sundubu jjaglie broth tastes: clean, not heavy

Bapjangin's sundubu jjaglie has whole big chunks of soft tofu and two thick slices of Spam piled on top. With zucchini, onion, and meat too, the broth is red but not heavy. It's clear and clean. My stomach felt completely revived.

I picked Sinramyeon spice level and it was just right, perfect. If I'd picked spicier it probably would've been too much,,? Ah, spice wimps should go for Jinramyeon level. My stomach, worn down by days of greasy food, came back to life right here.

Definitely add the Spam too,, the Spam was seriously delicious,,!! Genuine authentication proved real.

## Smoky bulgogi and lettuce wraps with gim flakes

Bapjangin's bulgogi genuinely has that smoky char flavor. See the charred marks around the edges? That's from being flash-seared on high heat. It's stir-fried with onions so there's sweetness woven in, and it's spicy but not harsh, perfect with rice.

And here's the thing — there's a gim (seaweed) flake shaker sitting on the table.

Sprinkle it generously on the black rice, top with bulgogi, wrap it in lettuce, and that's it^^ The gim flakes are sweet-salty so you keep going back for more, ugh.

- One menu per person. Exception only for children under 10
- Naver receipt review event is once per table, gets a free soda. Just request the receipt, write a review with the hashtag, and attach a photo of your dish
- You'll need to use the terminal parking lot for parking. There's no separate lot since it's an underground mall
- Great for solo dining. There's a separate single-serving set
- Give yourself plenty of time before your bus. The food comes out fast but there can be a line
