When you're traveling around Jeju and keep eating the famous stuff like black pork or Jeju noodle soup, sometimes you just want something a bit easier to eat. Especially when I wanted a simple meal back at the accommodation or wanted to try several dishes at once, I often ended up looking for places that do takeout. Jejju City Hall Branch, which I visited this time, has all sorts of menu items — rice bowls, sushi, fried dishes — so it was a great spot whether you want a full meal or just a light snack to pick from.

It's a combo where you get to enjoy salmon, sushi, and fried shrimp together, so instead of eating one thing the whole time, you get to pick and choose. Personally I love this kind of menu because you don't have to order salmon separately, sushi separately, and fried food separately just to get variety — you get it all in one order. It seemed especially well suited to people looking for something to sip on back at their accommodation during a Jeju trip, or people who want a bit of everything but don't want to commit to ordering multiple dishes. I picked the Anju Samchongsa just from the name, and having several kinds together made picking through it one by one genuinely fun.
