We ordered Jijon jjajang, sujebi jjamppong, sticky rice sweet and sour pork, fried mandu, crab fried rice, and shrimp fried rice. The sujebi jjamppong was the most memorable dish — jjamppong with sujebi instead of noodles. Turns out it works really well together. The sujebi isn't thin and slippery — it's thick and chewy. Proper bite to it. The spicy jjamppong broth clings to the sujebi, giving it a different charm from noodle jjamppong. There's a generous amount of cockles too. Still, the spice doesn't overpower everything else. If you like a hearty spicy broth, give the sujebi jjamppong a try. ### Sticky rice sweet and sour pork and fried mandu Our family is firmly Team Sticky Rice Sweet and Sour Pork. Regular sweet and sour pork is good too, but we love that distinctive chewy texture sticky rice gives. Jjambbong Jijon's sticky rice sweet and sour pork also has that appealing chewy batter. The meat is clean-tasting and the batter is chewy enough that you keep reaching for more.
