And most of all, the staff were so friendly that I could start the meal in a good mood. Before we started eating, a staff member explained the order and way to eat everything. The salad was light and a nice way to wake up the appetite, and the fried shrimp and karaage were crispy and perfect as sides alongside the sushi. Soft steamed egg custard with a gentle hint of truffle aroma — a totally different feel from regular chawanmushi. Various ingredients were mixed in as well. Sushi alone might have left me wanting a bit more, but with the warm udon added in, it felt like a proper full meal!
