Seongsu has such a lively vibe even on weekdays around quitting time, it's fun just to walk around — but this time we decided to grab a good burger too. Bas Burger's menu is familiar and approachable, so it wasn't stressful to bring a kid along. We ordered the Chili Mozza Cheese Bar as a side, since burgers alone felt a bit lacking. It's a cheesy dish that paired well with the burgers — crispy texture plus savory cheese made it great for picking at between bites, and it'd be a good side to order multiples of and share if you're with a group. But if you can't handle spice, watch out. It's spicy! Getting two different ones to share let us compare the flavors, which was nice. Since I love IPAs, I paid extra to swap out the drink included in the set for a beer instead. Burgers and IPA really do go together well. After the rich, heavy flavor of the burger, a sip of IPA cleaned my palate right up — very satisfying, personally. Eating a good burger with my kid, plus a glass of my favorite IPA — it made for a pretty perfect evening.
