Grilling service! A staff member grilled the bulgogi (marinated beef) right at our table over charcoal, so we got to eat comfortably without lifting a finger. The marinated hanwoo bulgogi was grilled quickly over the charcoal, and the seasoning wasn't overdone — just right, with a subtle smoky charcoal aroma layered in. I love pesto and make it myself sometimes, and here was a perilla leaf pesto! The whole soy-braised abalone especially — they even gave us butter on the side, telling us to make abalone butter rice with it. We were too busy eating to even get a photo of the final nurungji (scorched rice), but it wrapped up the meal perfectly. Everyone left really satisfied with a hearty, well-put-together lunch.
