Today I was hanging around Baekseok-dong in Cheonan and looking for a good lunch spot, and I ended up at Bulnaneun Jjukkumi Main Branch — famous for its jjukkumi (spicy stir-fried webfoot octopus) and shrimp tempura set. Here's my review!

## The lunch set for two: jjukkumi, pot rice and shrimp tempura at 17,000 won each

I wanted the jjukkumi set, so I ordered the lunch jjukkumi + pot rice + shrimp tempura set for two, mild spice level — and it was perfect even for someone who can't handle spicy food! Next time I want to try the jjukkumi with perilla noodle set too😆

The jjukkumi was so tender and springy, not chewy at all, and the pieces were big, making for a really satisfying bite🩷 Not just the jjukkumi — the cabbage was well seasoned too!

The freshly made pot rice is glossy and the grains are wonderfully chewy! I scooped all the rice out onto a big plate, poured hot water into the pot, and made scorched-rice tea (sungnyung) — nutty and genuinely delicious.
