Hi, this is Bori! Today I visited a big bagel café in Gosaek-dong, Suwon. It's the place that's been buzzing all over SNS. If you're in Hwaseong Bongdam or anywhere near Suwon looking for a brunch café, this one's worth keeping on your radar — I was really looking forward to it even before I got there.

## Is parking easy? Plenty of space and a red-brick exterior

The first thing I loved was the parking. Cafés around Suwon can often be stressful when it comes to parking, but Orange Bagel has a spacious lot right in front of the store, so I could park with no hassle and just walk right in.

The red-brick building under a blue sky was striking too, and the big "Orange Bagel" sign meant I could spot it from a distance. With its concept of original New York-style bagels, the building itself already gave off that New York brunch café vibe ✨🎡

Once I saw it in person, the variety of bagels was way more than I expected, and picking one was genuinely fun.

A bagel piled high with corn, a mocha bun, a pizza bagel topped with pepperoni, a bagel packed with potato, a deep chocolate bagel for those who love something sweet, and a laugen butter bagel made with pretzel dough and butter tucked inside — genuinely, one single case had every kind of sweet-and-salty combination you could want. It was fun choosing according to my own taste, and it's rare to find a place with this much bagel variety in one spot.

### Pepperoni bagel – looks like a mini pizza

First up, the pepperoni bagel! Piled high with pepperoni, mushroom, and cheese, it looked like a mini pizza.

Golden and crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside — the bagel dough let you enjoy both pizza and bagel charms at once. I cut it with a fork, and the cheese pulled in long stretchy strings, which was so satisfying.

Next was the scallion cream bacon bagel. It has sesame seeds packed densely on top, with soft cream cheese inside, piled high with scallions (jjokpa), and salty bacon laid on in strips.

Cutting it with a knife and fork, the cream cheese layer was generously spread throughout. I cut it into bite-sized pieces, and the sharp, fresh scent of the scallions balanced out the richness of the cream cheese and bacon combo really well. The scallion aroma and the bacon's saltiness came together in harmony.

### Laugen butter bagel – coarse salt and a thick slab of butter

Next, the laugen butter bagel. With the deep brown sheen typical of pretzel dough and chunky coarse salt crystals, it's an eye-catching one!

Inside was a thick slab of butter, so the chewy dough paired beautifully with the salty cheese. As the café's signature item, the texture really stood out. Even in close-up, you could see the layers and feel the care that went into it.

Next up was the olive tomato bagel.

With black olives piled generously on top, the look is distinctive. It came out with the cheese slightly melted, giving it a salty, savory flavor I really liked.

Bagels alone felt like it wasn't quite enough, so we also ordered an orangeano. + I got mine decaf.

If you've been looking for a bagel café or brunch café around big cafés in Suwon or near Hwaseong Bongdam, I'd really recommend Orange Bagel. The spacious parking, the New York-style interior, and above all, the bagel selection filled with so many satisfying varieties — it's genuinely a place where you think, "I need to come back again," after just one visit.

The laugen bagel in particular was chewy and memorable enough to call it Orange Bagel's own signature, and the orangeano had its own distinctive flavor too. If you're looking for things to do in Gyeonggi or a café in Suwon, I think you'll like Orange Bagel. It was such a satisfying visit that next time, I want to try every other bagel on the menu one by one. Orange Bagel — recommended as a bakery café in Suwon!
