Bukseongsu part three, dun dun. After Pajak Omil, this time I went to Brivite Seongsu! Dun dun. ## Where is Brivite Seongsu? A short walk from Seongsu Station Brivite Seongsu is located relatively close to Seongsu Station, which is unusual for Bukseongsu. There are a lot of restaurants around here aimed at office workers. Oh, fun~ I thought, but a few people were ringing it so hard that it startled me mid-bite. It comes with 2 mains + 1 side + 2 drinks. Honestly, I first ordered items separately and then went, oh wait, the set is better — so the side came out later, not-so-secretly haha. Quick take: it was spicier than expected, and surprisingly it worked really well. Salmon steak usually comes with cream pasta, but here it's served over a ragu-based sauce. Salmon can get greasy, but the spicy ragu sauce wrapped around it nicely. Next, finally, the much-anticipated green onion cream corn gnocchi. It was a delicious gnocchi, though the corn aroma wasn't as strong as I expected. Thinking about it, if the corn scent were too strong, the balance of flavors might've been off. And the side dish I added on: spicy fried eggplant. Honestly, I've been obsessed with eggplant lately. I made eggplant fried rice at home and it was so good. Wanting to enjoy eggplant a different way, I ordered this fried version. Bottom line — I couldn't help but say, how is this eggplant so crispy?? I honestly don't know much about whiskey and just ordered it on a whim, but the aroma itself blended with the buttery note into something really fragrant. The taste itself was a bit bitter — though that might just be because I don't know whiskey well. The aroma alone made it a good experience. If you've never had whiskey before, I'd recommend trying it as a first step.
