There are so many restaurants inside Avenue France that I deliberated for ages, but somehow this was one of those days when I wanted a proper burger with fries. It was a great fit when I wanted a burger that felt more generous and distinctive than fast food. It was casual overall, with slightly dim lighting, so the atmosphere was a little different from a typical fast-food place. Base Burger had quite a variety, from the classic Base Burger to the Hawaiian burger, double bacon cheeseburger, mushroom burger, and shrimp burger. There were sides from French fries to onion rings too, making it fun to choose according to your taste. Base Burger’s Hawaiian burger comes with a beef patty, cheese, bacon, and grilled pineapple. It combines the pineapple’s gentle sweetness with the smoky flavor that comes from grilling. The first thing I noticed on taking a bite was that crisp texture. It was crisp outside with mozzarella inside, and the cheese really stretched when I took a bite. It is hard to just pass by a visual like that, right?
