I visited Wareureu Mansion Bangi Branch (와르르맨숀 방이점) in Bangi-dong for yukhoe and cream jjamppong as drinking snacks. It is a Korean restaurant where you can also have a meal, and I remember its retro interior and Crayon Shin-chan décor.

## How do you get there from Jamsil Station, and how late is it open?

It is about 520 m from Exit 10 of Jamsil Station, or roughly a 10-minute walk. The hours listed in the original post were 2 PM to 4 AM the following day from Sunday to Thursday, and 2 PM to 5 AM the following day on Friday and Saturday. Parking was also listed as available.

The restaurant is on the second floor of the building at 11-8 Ogeum-ro 11-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. I went up via the exterior stairs.

At the bottom of the stairs, there was a banner with menu photos and opening information. The retro atmosphere came through even on the way in.

## What was the interior like, and was there seating for groups?

Once inside, the old-fashioned wallpaper caught my eye first. The interior felt spacious and comfortable.

A Crayon Shin-chan movie was playing on the wall via a beam projector. Crayon Shin-chan figures placed around the restaurant also suited the atmosphere.

There were tables for four in the center. With plenty of seats divided between the window and wall areas, it looked easy to choose according to the size of your group.

When I paid and left, I noticed hair ties, mouthwash, and deodorizer at the counter.

Macaroni arrived before the food. It was generously coated in mayonnaise, making it a decent drinking snack.

## How were the two-plus-grade Korean beef yukhoe and gim bugak?

The two-plus-grade Korean beef yukhoe & gim bugak came with yukhoe, gim bugak, cheese, radish sprouts, egg, and sesame oil sauce. The arrangement let me vary the ingredients I ate with it.

I mixed the egg yolk and dipped the yukhoe in it. The tender raw beef had a clear beefy aroma.

I also wrapped it in gim bugak. Still, I wished the gim bugak had been a little crispier.

The combination with cheese was good too. The yukhoe itself was enjoyable with the different accompaniments.

## How were the cream jjamppong and drinks?

The Wareureu Banjeom cream jjamppong reminded me of a thick cream pasta. It was spicy and savory, and the sauce had soaked well into the noodles when I lifted them.

There were also plenty of shrimp and scallops inside. I finished with a satisfying meal of seafood and noodles.

For drinks, I ordered Wareureu old-style sikhye and a Jangsu omija highball. The sikhye was sweet and easy to drink, while the omija highball was refreshing and sweet. It was a visit where I could stop by after work and have yukhoe with a warm noodle dish.
