Riding the escalator down, the lighting was soft overall and the interior felt pretty upscale. The Chef Cho storefront, done in a gold-and-black design, stood out even among the neighboring shops haha. It also introduced Chef Jo Jeong-im as having run Chef Cho for 23 years haha. The peach surface had a gentle sheen and the strawberry color contrasted vividly, so it photographed really well haha. Looking at the cross-section, rows of strawberries ran through the whipped cream, so this wasn't just a cake with fruit piled on top. Personally, when a fruit cake's cream is too sweet, I get sick of it after a few bites. It felt less like eating a cake and more like eating fruit and cream dessert together haha.
