Two of us booked ahead and came for lunch, ordering the hanwoo-handon set for two with diced rice and half-and-half cold noodles, and staff grilled and cut the hanwoo, fresh galbisal and pork belly in order at the table. We'd planned a day out in Mapo, and while looking for good restaurants nearby for lunch, I suddenly craved charcoal-grilled meat. Walking in, there were plenty of spacious tables, which I loved. For pork, they had pork belly, pork neck, galbisal, galmaegisal, hangjeongsal, and even pork skin. Sides covered everything: diced rice, doenjang jjigae fried rice, water/spicy cold noodles, half-and-half cold noodles, kimchi-mari noodles, chadol doenjang jjigae, kimchi jjigae, and steamed egg with rice. We started with the well-grilled hanwoo dipped in salt — tender and so delicious. Eating it with the scallion salad was a great combo too. Wrapping it in lettuce was another way to enjoy it — so many ways to eat it, which I loved. ## Half-and-half cold noodles with diced rice: how the combo eats As we ate, the half-and-half cold noodles arrived. Meat and cold noodles are practically a must-pair, right?
