That day I was craving something special. As I was thinking about what to eat, I suddenly wanted the halal food I used to eat at Halal Guys back in New York. After going back and forth, I ordered one Chicken Platter and one Gyro Platter. The food came out quickly, and I hurried home so we could eat while it was fresh. ## What comes in the takeout box: two sauces and pita bread The Halal Steaks takeout came with two sauces each. I added some hot sauce too and took a bite — and it tasted exactly like what I used to eat in New York. It was so delicious, and every bite brought back memories, which made me so happy.
