Mapo Korean BBQ second round with whole kimchi: Ijjok
Ijjok Kimchi Samgyeopsal is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Mapo, Seoul, where pork and whole kimchi are grilled together. After beef with a friend, I ordered 2 portions of fresh pork belly, 1 portion of pork jowl, and doenjang-jjigae for a second round. Verdict: even when full, the kimchi-pork pairing kept us reaching for more.
