I tried Everlast’s women’s workout set, intending to wear it for hiking and the gym in spring. Made up of a nylon jersey running jacket and bootcut pants, the smooth feel and body-hugging fit were the first things I noticed.

## How can you choose the color and size?

At the time of the original post, it came in three colors—lavender, ash blue, and black—and sizes 90–105. While choosing the set, you could select different colors and sizes for the top and bottom. The default option at the time was black + lavender in size 95, so it was worth checking the color and size before ordering.

The item I received arrived quickly and was neatly packaged. The jacket and pants were individually wrapped, and the nylon felt smooth to the touch.

## What are the set’s design and washing instructions like?

The overall style was clean, and the logo was not overdone. I chose it for hiking and the gym, but if I were picking it for running, I thought a bright color such as lavender would be nice too.

Use neutral detergent for washing. Since workout clothes get worn and washed often, I think ease of care matters just as much as comfort.

## What details does the running jacket have?

The jacket’s finger-area detail and zippered pockets stood out to me. When running, I worry that my phone or cards might fall out, so I liked being able to zip the pockets shut.

It is a jersey style that comes up to the neck, with one logo at the back of the neck. The decoration was not excessive on either the front or back, which suited my taste.

## Do the bootcut pants stretch comfortably?

Unlike the jacket, the pants pockets do not have zips. There is a drawstring at the waist, so I could tighten them to fit.

I usually wear tight workout clothes like leggings, so this was my first pair of bootcut workout pants. When I put them on, they stretched well and felt comfortable. I thought they would also be easy to wear for hiking or yoga.

## How did the fit and feel seem when worn?

When I wore it, it had a body-hugging slim fit. The shoulder and sleeve lines fit exactly, so I thought someone wanting a little more room could consider sizing up.
