The curry smell was strong, topped generously with flakes and green onion, and the red bit was maybe shichimi..? Anyway, whatever it was, it was so delicious. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much?? I figured it'd just be regular udon, but there were even two pieces of fish cake like in photo 3, lots of variety in the toppings, and even the noodles were plentiful.. and the broth was so fiery that the alcohol from the night before just.. completely got cured?? Two kinds of salt, salad, a heaping bowl of rice, broth, curry, and side dishes all come out together, and the kimchi was properly aged kimchi? so it went perfectly nom nom with the katsu haha. And the more you chewed, the more you could taste the meat's juiciness and flavor, so I never got tired of it through the whole meal — if anything my chopsticks kept going back for more haha.
