Two of us ordered the octopus dish at 28,000 won, the Greek-style lasagna (moussaka) at 27,000 won, and the pancetta pasta with squid ink noodles at 26,000 won, and cleared all three plates, with the flour-free moussaka of grilled eggplant and potato layered with cheese béchamel the standout. The menu had a lot of unusual items — among the standouts were squid ink spaghetti with pancetta, fish roe pasta, an octopus dish, carozza, fried eggplant, and shrimp dishes, all looking pretty upscale. Even with so many choices, we'd already picked out the signature dishes we wanted, so we ordered exactly that. Apparently this Greek-style lasagna is layered with grilled eggplant, grilled potato, and cheese béchamel instead of flour. We ordered it because everyone said it was delicious, and it was, but I also loved that it had no flour in it. It was refreshing, perfect for cleansing the palate. Such a nice touch... ## Why Suwanjigu Form is worth booking in Suwan, Gwangju If you're looking for a restaurant in Suwan-jigu or want Western food in Suwan-jigu, I recommend Form. Every single dish was genuinely delicious (and the owner was kind, too). The restaurant isn't big, so you'll need to book ahead, but even so — it was delicious. Also, the owner apparently visits the dawn market every day to personally pick out seasonal ingredients. No wonder everything was so fresh... They recommend wines too, so it could be a nice spot to come for dinner and have a glass in a nice atmosphere.
