Ah! I thought — I'd found a real view spot today. After spending time at Moonbird, I can confirm: great view spot, genuinely good bakery, and since I ordered an einspänner, good coffee spot too. Moonbird is located at 83-1 Cheongdam-ro 84beon-gil, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is open daily 10:30–21:00. There's a large parking lot, so no need to worry about parking. Just follow your navigation to the address and Moonbird's entrance appears. I went with no info and still found it without any trouble — success! Going up the hill, the parking lot is on the left and café Moonbird is on the right. Hall A and the garden are kids-friendly zones, while Hall B is a no-kids zone. You could feel how much care the owner put into the interior — the lighting, every little prop, was a pretty and comfortable design perfect for resting, and even the chairs balanced comfort with design. Watching the reeds sway through the full-length windows was my healing point of the day. This is a table in Hall A, which also looks great for group seating. Not a framed picture — it's an actual table at Moonbird! I thought it might be a sand-art thing, but it says 'eyes only, please' haha. Outlets were tucked away all over the Yangju café Moonbird. Great for charging your phone or plugging in a laptop — as a blogger, I love a café with outlets ready to go. Birthday party props are also available to rent for free, so this is going straight into my saved list for birthday party spots. A nice touch: print out the pretty photos you took at Moonbird on the spot and keep them. ## Hall B's no-kids zone: full-window views and photo-zone chairs Moonbird's bakery café in Yangju splits into Hall A/garden (kids allowed) and Hall B (no kids), and Hall B's view was just as stunning. The charm of Hall B is that one entire wall is a full window, letting you feel all four seasons of Yangju. The black chairs in front of the window are for photos — I was told they're not meant for sitting and drinking your drink. After taking photos and soaking in the view, I went back to my seat. A couple who visited that day took some great shots there. I went alone, so I just took in the view overlooking Yangju. Hall B at Moonbird has comfortable tables and chairs. There are outlets by the U-shaped bench seating too, so it looked great for bringing a laptop to work. Also great for gatherings or chatting with friends over Moonbird's drinks and desserts! ## What bakery and desserts does Moonbird sell? True to its reputation as a large view café in Yangju, the scenery through the full-length windows dominated the vibe at Moonbird. Doesn't the croissant and einspänner alone look like a painting? Time to dig in. The basil ham croissant sandwich had cheese, ham, and basil, and the seasoning was spot on. No matter how much I love sandwiches, there are cafés where it's too salty or the seasoning is off and hard to eat — but Moonbird's croissant sandwich seasoning was just right, love it. The crispy croissant combined with fresh vegetables, ham, cheese, and basil sauce made for a fresh, delicious sandwich. ### How thick is the whipped cream on Moonbird's einspänner? The einspänner is split into a whipped cream layer and a coffee layer — scoop up the whipped cream with a spoon first, then drink the coffee. ☕️ I'm someone who thinks the whipped cream texture is really important for an einspänner, and Moonbird's einspänner whipped cream had a chewy consistency — exactly the kind of einspänner I love :) ### Taking the crumble Basque cheesecake home I packed the crumble Basque cheesecake to go, to give my kid a snack at home. Wrapped in a pretty box like a gift, my kid was really happy to receive it.
