This is a record of my visit to The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa. I love pizza and eat it fairly often, but if I think about it, I usually end up with familiar franchise pizza like Domino's or Papa John's. That day, for some reason, I really wanted wood-fired pizza. So I looked around for a place to get it and found The Pizzeria Market.

I liked the vibe from the moment I arrived. There are outdoor tables in front, and the exterior felt a bit different from the pizza places I usually see. On a nice day, having a beer with pizza outside would be great — some people were already doing exactly that. It's near Manwolho Lake Park, so it's a good spot to eat and then take a walk. Parking is available in the space beside or behind the store, and if that's full, you get 1 hour supported at the Starbucks building parking lot right in front.

## Inside The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa: an exotic, holiday-like room

Walking inside, the exotic feel from the exterior continues. Wood-tone tables and chairs, lighting fixtures scattered around, plus the open kitchen made for a casual but distinctive space.

Personally I think taste matters most at a restaurant, but honestly, this place would also be perfect if you're looking for a Hanam restaurant with atmosphere.

You can't eat pizza without a beer, haha. So I ordered a beer, and for the other drink I picked the basil green ade. It really suited my taste too — sweet with that distinct basil flavor coming through, exactly my style.

The truffle mushroom cream pasta came out first. The truffle aroma hit hard the moment it arrived. Mushroom and cream sauce is a familiar combo, but adding truffle made the flavor much richer. The cream sauce had that savory quality that really stuck to the palate — delicious. Not the least bit heavy, so I kept going back for more.

Then came the dish I was most looking forward to — the fig prosciutto pizza. It's an autumn-only menu item, and since I love both fig and prosciutto, I ordered it the moment I saw it. Fig and prosciutto together is a combo I eat plenty, but I was a little skeptical whether it would work on pizza. One bite in, though, and that worry was pointless. This is genuinely delicious, haha.

The fig's mild sweetness and prosciutto's distinct saltiness worked together on the pizza better than I expected. Add arugula on top, and you get sweet, salty, and fragrant all at once. True to wood-fired style, the crust edges were crispy yet light, which paired well with the toppings. And dipping the leftover crust in the pasta sauce — also delicious, haha.

Looking at the pizza and pasta side by side, I felt like we'd chosen well. Going back and forth between the rich, nutty truffle mushroom cream pasta and a slice of the fig prosciutto pizza was a nice contrast, and both were easy to keep eating.

Prosciutto alone is salty, fig alone is sweet, but eating them together hit a perfect balance — it was genuinely fun. I thought it'd be an odd combination at first, but after eating it, it became the most memorable dish of the day.

With pizza, you tend to default to the same brand and the same order every time, but the wood-fired pizza at The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa, which I hadn't visited in a while, definitely had its own charm. I was especially satisfied that the fig and prosciutto combo I was curious about turned out to work so well. I liked the atmosphere, and both the pizza and pasta were delicious, so next time I want to try other pizzas too. But if the fig prosciutto pizza is really autumn-only, I want to go back and have it one more time while it's still on the menu, haha. Recommending The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa!
