It had a spicy, cool, refreshing taste, so a bite of kalguksu followed by a bite of kimchi cleaned up the palate nicely — they went so well together. When you're at a kalguksu place, you end up ordering at least one plate of dumplings, right? The gyoza dumplings had a chewy wrapper with a filling that felt packed full. The size is also just right to pop into your mouth whole, and biting down makes the juice burst out — so satisfying, and I really enjoyed it haha. ## Is Gangnam Gyoja worth it for lunch near Seohyeon Station? This time I tried three menus together — kalguksu, dakgaejang, and gyoza dumplings. I felt like this is exactly the place to visit on a day when you're craving warm soup food. It's good for a solo bowl of kalguksu, and even better if you visit with others and split the menu haha.
