Walking around an outlet mall burns more energy than you'd think, and right around that point I got hungry and headed to the food court. Thanks to that I got to meet an adorable puppy passing by. These systems are everywhere these days, which is convenient, but for a second I did think, "wow, it's really easy to spend money in this world" haha. I'd heard the suyuk (boiled pork) was a limited menu item, and once we actually tried it, it was good enough to rival any dedicated suyuk restaurant. The meat quality was great and it was boiled soft enough to melt in your mouth. The pieces of meat were big and there was a lot of them, so even though it's a soup dish, it really delivered on protein. It fully lived up to the name "bone kalguksu." ## Bossam kimchi, the perfect partner for kalguksu noodles And I can't leave out the kimchi! The kimchi served alongside wasn't just ordinary kimchi — it was the style meant to go with kalguksu and bossam (boiled pork wraps). The seasoning was rich and savory, and it paired really well with the kalguksu broth. I loved the look of it right away: a little soy-based sauce underneath, topped generously with spicy seasoning and shredded scallions. One bite in, it genuinely tasted like mandu from a high-end Chinese restaurant. The generous amount of meat in the kalguksu, suyuk quality that rivals a specialty restaurant, and well-made mandu — all three came together nicely. I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone who needs a solid meal while shopping at Siheung Premium Outlets.
