Yun Sikdang (윤식당) is famous in Masan for Korean set meals‼️ Its main dish is the charcoal-grilled bulgogi set meal. When the table was first set, there were so many side dishes that I was like, “All of this is included?” haha. There’s usually a wait here, so I’m leaving an honest review on whether it’s worth waiting for.

## Where do you park?

You can use the public parking lot across the street, and I heard each table gets one hour of parking support. Apparently, street parking is also possible at lunchtime or after 6 p.m.

## Wait times and the restaurant atmosphere

This place tends to get quite a lot of customers around mealtimes. I heard the wait can be over an hour when it gets busy? 👀 I visited at 1:30 p.m. on a weekday, though, and it was nice and relaxed. The dining room is bigger than I expected, with a good number of tables.

## Charcoal-grilled bulgogi set meal: menu and prices

The main menu is the charcoal-grilled bulgogi set meal. It’s ₩16,000 per person, with a minimum order of two. Add-ons include a charcoal-grilled platter for ₩8,000, kimchi pancake for ₩5,000, soybean paste stew for ₩3,000, grilled fish for ₩3,000, four pieces of seasoned raw crab for ₩4,000, four pieces of marinated abalone for ₩10,000, and rice for ₩1,000.

### What we ordered

✔️ Charcoal-grilled bulgogi set meal for 3: ₩48,000

## Is all this really included for ₩16,000 per person?

![Image showing the full charcoal-grilled bulgogi set meal](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-07-4wqa8-1200.webp)

The charcoal-grilled bulgogi set meal came with bulgogi, grilled mackerel, kimchi pancake, soybean paste stew, steamed egg, spicy vinegar-dressed squid, ssam vegetables for wrapping, japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), mung bean sprout salad, seasoned eggplant, seasoned raw crab, kimchi, salad, stir-fried anchovies, and marinated abalone... The table was seriously packed without a single gap, haha. It felt like there were several mains, so I didn’t even know where to start. Doesn’t this deserve its reputation as a great Masan Korean set-meal restaurant? haha

## The charcoal-grilled bulgogi is a total rice thief

![Image in the context of Yun Sikdang's charcoal-grilled bulgogi](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-08-1q362-966.webp)

The main charcoal-grilled bulgogi was sweet and savory. It also had a gentle smoky char, so the rice went down way too easily. It was delicious simply over rice, and wrapping it in lettuce gave it a different feel. It wasn’t intensely seasoned, so I think people of all ages would enjoy it! Parents would probably love it, and kids would eat it well too.

## Crispy grilled mackerel with no fishy taste

![Image in the context of Yun Sikdang's grilled mackerel](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-09-1mqts-966.webp)

I normally struggle with grilled fish if it tastes fishy. But the mackerel here was crisp on the outside, with almost no fishiness. The flesh was moist too, making it great with rice. After some bulgogi, a bite of mackerel brought in another rice thief, haha.

## The kimchi pancake is secretly amazing too

![Image in the context of Yun Sikdang's kimchi pancake](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-11-1y471-966.webp)

![Image in the context of Yun Sikdang's kimchi pancake](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-12-8hfas-966.webp)

And surprisingly, the thing I reached for most was the kimchi pancake!!! Rather than crispy, it had a soft, chewy texture!

## The soybean paste stew feels like a home-cooked meal

![Image in the context of Yun Sikdang's soybean paste stew](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-13-o29wr-966.webp)

The soybean paste stew was generously portioned too? 🫪 It had blue crab and clams, making the broth refreshing, and there was plenty of tofu. The clams especially weren’t tiny—they were plump, so it was fun picking them out one by one.

It was hearty with a slight kick, so taking a spoonful between bites of charcoal-grilled bulgogi really felt like eating a home-cooked meal, haha.

## The sansho aroma in the seasoned raw crab may divide opinions

![Image in the context of Yun Sikdang's seasoned raw crab](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-14-1qkwo-966.webp)

Seasoned raw crab comes with the meal too. The one here has quite a noticeable sansho pepper aroma. If you love sansho, you’ll probably be completely into it! But if you’re sensitive to that scent, it might be a little divisive. Personally, I loved it as the little kick. One spoonful of rice is instantly possible with just the crab, haha. The steamed egg and japchae were served cold, but they still tasted good!

## Marinated abalone comes according to your party size

![Image in the context of Yun Sikdang's marinated abalone](https://img.superchart.com/images/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal/masan-yunsikdang-bulgogi-set-meal-15-34mq8-966.webp)

The marinated abalone also comes according to the number of people in your party. It wasn’t overly salty, and it was chewy yet springy—just perfect over rice.

## It seems like a good place to bring your parents

Personally, I thought this would be a good place to bring your parents. It isn’t just meat: there’s fish, stew, pancake, and seasoned vegetables, so it’s not the kind of table where someone has nothing to eat. The menu is also familiar Korean food, so I don’t think it would be too polarizing! It seems like a great Masan Korean set-meal restaurant for a family meal out or when you’re craving a generous home-style spread.
