My hair had grown out a lot, and since it's on the dry side, it tangled easily and the ends were starting to look messy. If the side hair sits too flat, it can make the cheekbones stand out even more, so they directed the cut to soften that naturally! And the all-important side hair cut! They cut it so well. ## What 30 minutes of scalp care at Anew Hair includes After the cut, we moved on to scalp care! It went from device scalp massage → scalp shampoo, scalp pack → acupressure massage. The scalp care was genuinely so relaxing! They pressed into my scalp bit by bit, and it felt amazing, and after the scalp pack there was a cooling sensation that left my scalp feeling really refreshed!! They also shared some easy scalp home-care tips I could do myself, which was great! Apparently a surprising number of men also have sensitive scalps. A lot of people come in regularly for scalp care to prevent hair loss or maintain scalp condition. What I wanted most was a style where the ends weren't too wispy, but the overall look wasn't heavy either, and it came out exactly like that! Even though the length wasn't cut much shorter, the layers formed naturally so my hair looks so much lighter, and especially the line along the sides of my face came out looking natural — I was so happy with it! But there was one thing I wasn't happy about: the reservation time! ㅠㅠ I had booked for 3pm, but the director didn't arrive at the salon until around 3:40pm, and the consultation ran until about 4:20pm. After the cut and scalp care were all done, it was around 5:30pm. I appreciated how thoroughly they consulted on my hairstyle and scalp condition, but since it's run on a reservation system, I think satisfaction would be so much higher if the timing were better managed too! Still, it was a day that properly refreshed my mood — a lighter head of hair after a long while, plus a scalp massage on top!
