There's a jokbal (Korean braised pig's feet) place right by Sanghyeon Station that's genuinely soft, chewy, moist, and tender. It's just really, really good, and I'm frustrated that my vocabulary can't do it justice 🥹

The weather's cooled down, so some people were dining outside. That autumn-night outdoor-dining vibe is really something 😉 Seeing so many older guys there got my hopes up even before I walked in. You know how it is — ajusshis don't go to bad restaurants, haha.

Each round table had a square insert on top, and I wondered what it was for — turns out it's exactly where the side dish and jokbal plates fit. The whole aesthetic here really feels clean and put together.

Cheongdam Jokbal Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Branch has a wide range of jokbal and bossam (boiled pork wraps) dishes. I wanted to try the basic option, so I ordered the freshly boiled warm jokbal, medium size. It's ₩45,000, but you get a ₩5,000 discount for takeout orders! Amazing value, right?

The side dish plates slotting neatly into that square tray I mentioned earlier — seeing that click into place is weirdly satisfying, haha.

I'm usually not a fan of makguksu, you know? At jokbal restaurants the noodles are usually clumped together and mushy. But maybe because it was made fresh in-house, or maybe it was just this particular batch, the noodles weren't clumped at all — chewy and really tasty.

### How much meat is in a medium jokbal, and the three sauces

This is the medium size jokbal. I was surprised at how generous the portion was, and then surprised again by the color — doesn't it look incredibly moist?

When I eat jokbal, I actually prefer pairing it with pickled radish rather than bossam kimchi. The jokbal was so tender and chewy that it was delicious even plain, but wrapping it up was also incredibly good. ㅠ

There's really zero dry, stringy meat. It was so good that I happily savored every single bite right down to the last one, haha.

Known as a top jokbal spot for both Gwanggyo and Sanghyeon locals, Cheongdam Jokbal Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Branch reportedly boils fresh domestic pig's feet in-house every day and sells it same-day. It's genuinely a generous, delicious jokbal restaurant! It seems like a great fit for family meals, dinners, gatherings, or company dinners alike, and I'm planning to try it via delivery next time.

This is a truly honest review, not just an ad — it's genuinely delicious. Definitely go check it out. You won't regret it at all.
