The space itself is generous and the seating is comfortable, so it was easy to eat without feeling rushed. Feels like it wouldn't get cramped even with a group :) ### Does the meat smell linger? Inside Anmin Cheongju's ventilation One thing that always nags at me at Korean BBQ places is the meat smell that clings to your clothes and hair. Anmin has a solid ventilation system, so even after finishing the meal, almost no meat smell lingered on my body or clothes. Honestly, this satisfied me more than I expected haha. When you think of fried rice at a Korean BBQ place, kimchi or red-sauced fried rice usually comes to mind first, but here there's a dish literally called white fried rice. I ordered it out of curiosity because of the name at first, and it was actually delicious haha. It worked really well as a finishing dish after the meat. It's different from the typical BBQ-restaurant fried rice, so it's worth trying if you visit Anmin! ## Is Anmin Cheongju worth a visit in Bongmyeong-dong? Anmin Cheongju was a comfortable place not just for the meat but for the whole dining experience. The dining room was spacious, the seats were comfortable, and I especially liked how well-ventilated it was — almost no meat smell lingered. Most of all, with staff grilling the meat from start to finish and explaining each cut, I could just focus on enjoying the meal.
