先日、新論峴駅の近くで食事をしたあと、近所にいい感じの大型カフェを見つけました。それがUpper and Under（어퍼앤언더）です。

江南のど真ん中なのに、待ち時間を気にせず開放的なテラス席が楽しめて、フロアごとに魅力も違うので、これは絶対シェアしなきゃ！と思いました。2026年6月現在、私が実際に体験したフロアごとの雰囲気と、注文のときに必ず知っておきたい独特のコツまで、すっきりまとめますね。

Upper and Underの営業時間は11:00-22:00で、新論峴駅6番出口から約300m離れています。新論峴駅のカフェであり、人気の江南ホットスポットでもあるUpper and Underは、歩いて約10分ほどであっという間に着く距離で、助かりました。

駐車サポートについてははっきりとは分からないので、車よりも地下鉄などの公共交通機関での訪問をおすすめします。

外観は赤レンガに、内側はおしゃれな白レンガが組み合わさっていて、地下から2階までの建物が見えました。

## Upper and Underのフロア別の雰囲気と席選び

Upper and Underは席に余裕があって回転もよく、江南でも席を確保しやすかったです。江南エリアのカフェは人が多くて席探しが至難の業ですが、Upper and Underは回転はもちろん、席数にもゆとりがあってよかったです。

店内はフロアごとに雰囲気が違いました。地下は全体的に静かで落ち着いた雰囲気で、1階と2階は屋外のゆとり感に加えてテラスがあり、開放感も味わえました。

お客さんは多かったものの、席にもゆとりがあって、長く待つことなくすぐにカフェを利用できました。

Upper and Underでいちばん大事なコツは、注文が2階でしかできないという点です。なので、2階に席を取るのがおすすめです。

そしてスタッフさんがとても親切でした。写真や動画を撮っていたら、ゆっくり撮ってくださいと場所を空けてくれたり、デザートそれぞれの特徴を教えながら紹介してくれたりしました。

そのあと振動ベルが鳴ったので、ドリンクとデザートを受け取りに行きました。

## ティラミスとクレームブリュレフラン、アイスアメリカーノの味は？

まず、ドリンクもデザートも本当においしそうな見た目でした。

Upper and Underのティラミスはしっとり甘くて、それだけでおいしかったですし、クレームブリュレフランも中にフィリングがぎっしり入っていて、お客さんが1人1デザートを頼む理由が分かった気がします。

さらにアイスアメリカーノは酸味がなく、香ばしくて冷たく、喉の渇きを癒すのにぴったりで、甘いデザートとの相性もよかったです。

私はもっちりしたクリームがのったアインシュペナーを飲みました。

甘さが中心でしたが、そのあとに感じる濃いコーヒーの風味もよく、コーヒーとクリームの相性もさりげなくよくて、とてもおいしくいただけました。
