## 가장 와닿았던 마지막 4부

도망가도 괜찮아. 그냥 한 번 사는 인생인데 법에 문제만 안 되면 하고 싶은 대로 사는 게 백 번 맞다. 나도 다시 돌아간다면 굳이 하기 싫은 공부를 하면서 시간 낭비하지 않을 것이고, 내가 하고 싶은 체육 공부를 했을 거다. 나는 운동할 때, 내가 하고 싶은 공부를 할 때 가장 행복하다는 걸 30이 넘어서 깨달았으니까.

이 책은 머리맡에 놓고 우울할 때마다 자주 펴볼 예정이다. 책은 1부, 2부, 3부, 4부로 구성되어 있는데 마지막 4부가 가장 와닿았다. 그리고 애매한 재능은 정말 딱 내 얘기였다.

> p.220 무언가를 곧잘 하는 편이나, 그보다 뛰어난 사람은 널려 있고, 하지만 그게 가진 유일한 재능일 때, 우리는 흔히 ‘애매한 재능의 저주’라고 말한다.

like me... ㅠㅠㅠ 공부도, 그림도, 운동도 다 애매하게 잘했었기 때문에.. 나는 수능도 두 번째 수능, 세 번째 수능도 보고 빙빙 돌아서 대학에 갔다. 그리고 졸업 후에 결국 또 다른 공부를 하기 위해 준비하고 있다.

이게 맞나? 의구심이 들고 힘든 와중에 이렇게 좋은 에세이책을 읽게 돼서 정말 감사하고 고맙다. 앞으로도 스스로에게 의문이 들 때 읽기 위해 머리맡에 두고 잔다!
