Bibisam (비비삼) is a Korean restaurant on Saesulmak-gil in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, centered on bibimbap. I had the dolsot albap set and Korean beef yukhoe bibimbap set at weekday lunch; the generous toppings and separately served yukhoe stood out, though four parties were waiting ahead of us.
Seorak Makguksu Chuncheon Dakgalbi Yeoju IC Branch is a charcoal-grilled chicken restaurant near Yeoju IC in Yeoju, Gyeonggi. I ordered both spicy-marinated and soy-sauce dakgalbi, which the staff grilled for me; the smoky, tender chicken was enjoyable, though it could burn from the charcoal’s residual heat. The bibim makguksu tasted best to me with a little broth, mustard, and vinegar.
