Korean sunscreen for dry skin: MEDIPICKME AquaMing 150ml

Was this large moisturizing sunscreen convenient for full-body use?

Since my family uses sunscreen all year round, I found myself looking for a large-size product. At 150ml, this one was great for applying not only to my face in summer but also to my arms and legs, and it felt generous enough for days when I wanted sunscreen for my whole body, such as when going swimming.

The product I used was MEDIPICKME AquaMing Mild Sunscreen.

How noticeable were the white cast and stickiness?

Sunscreens that leave my face looking white or shiny can make me self-conscious when I go out, but I did not find the white cast noticeable with this one. True to a product containing a moisturizing essence, it left my skin hydrated while feeling less shiny.

The texture was on the lighter side, so it was easy to spread over my arms and legs too. When I apply sunscreen to my body, I sometimes find it uncomfortable if it transfers to my clothes or feels sticky, but I liked that this absorbed well and finished fresh.

Would it be suitable for sensitive or dry skin?

The original information said it excludes around 20 ingredients identified as harmful by Hwahae, so I looked over the ingredients. When I used it around my eye area myself, I did not feel any stinging or irritation. Still, skin reactions vary from person to person, so it is best to check how your skin responds when using it for the first time.

It was described as a hybrid sunscreen, with both mineral and chemical UV filters, and as vegan certified.

Did the tone change look natural on the face?

When I used it on bare skin, I noticed a natural tone-up effect. I usually have some redness, and it looked somewhat more even; it was closer to a hydrated skin look than a makeup-like finish.

Because it is a moisturizing product, it felt like it adhered better when I layered it in small amounts rather than applying a lot at once. I recommend applying it 30 minutes before going out.

How did it finish after applying it to the back of my hand?

When I applied it only to the lower part of the back of my hand for comparison, the applied area had a more natural glow and moisturized feel. Although it was described as high in moisturizing essence, it did not feel very oily and finished fresh, so I think it could suit combination-dehydrated skin too.

How did I remove it after use?

For me, someone who often feels dryness, its essence-like moisturizing feel was a plus. It was moisturizing, but different from the kind of stickiness that makes hair cling to your skin. It is not a product that comes off with water alone, so I washed it off thoroughly with a cleansing product after use.
