Post-shower body tone-up cream: MEDIPICKME Glow Up Tone Up Milk
In short
MEDIPICKME Glow Up Tone Up Milk is a body tone-up cream from Korea that can also be used on the face. I tested it on damp skin during a shower and on my face after skincare, and saw an immediate tone difference on my arms and legs. Verdict: handy for an instantly brighter look, but take care when fitting the pump.

Is this a tone-up cream you use while showering?
After a trip, I needed a tone-up product for my tanned skin and my husband's naturally darker skin, so I tried MEDIPICKME Glow Up Tone Up Milk. For the body, you apply it to damp skin during a shower and then rinse it off.

I was worried about it transferring onto clothes after showering, but because you rinse it off, that felt less of a concern.

You apply it to a wet body and rinse again. I used it with the feeling that it adhered lightly to my skin.

Can you use it on your face, too?
It could be used on the face as well as the body. For the face, you do not apply it while the skin is damp; instead, apply it at the tone-up cream step after finishing your skincare routine.

How did I check the ingredients and expiration date?
I checked that the packaging listed niacinamide and a vitamin C derivative. The expiration date was marked as January 2029.

What is the order for applying it to the body?
The directions said to wash first with body wash or soap, then apply the tone-up milk. Dead skin can keep it from adhering evenly, so I used it after smoothing away any dead skin.

The pump and bottle came separately, and the volume stated in the post is 300ml. When I opened the bottle, it was filled right up, so I thought it might leak if I fitted the pump immediately. I decided to use it by opening and closing the cap for the time being.

What were the texture and scent like?
The texture felt thick and creamy, and it had a subtle floral scent. I also tried it on a small wound on my arm, and in my photo, the wound seemed to look lighter.

Was the tone difference on my arms and legs visible right away?
When I compared the backs of my hands and my full arms side by side, I could immediately see a tone difference on the applied side. I also checked the before-and-after difference on my legs, then washed it off with body wash.

Did I try it on dry skin, too?
Unlike the directions, I tried it on only one of my husband's legs while it was dry rather than damp. The difference between the applied and un-applied sides was noticeable in this comparison, too, but the recommended method is to apply it to damp skin.

How was it after applying it to the face and neck?
I also applied it to my husband's face and neck, and right afterward, I felt that he looked brighter overall. It seemed worth trying when you need an immediate tone-up effect on exposed areas.
