Why did I use an overnight lip mask for dry lips?
Even a little dryness makes my lips flaky, and it shows up even more when I wear lipstick or lip gloss, so I usually make sure to keep them moisturized. Rather than constantly reapplying lip balm during the day, I was looking for something simple to use before bed, which is how I ended up trying this lip mask.

How did I apply it before bed?
After cleansing and finishing my basic skincare, I put an appropriate amount on my lips and gently spread it out. On days when my lips were especially dry or the flakes bothered me, I used more than usual, almost like an overnight lip pack.

How did my lips feel the next morning?
I prefer moisturizing overnight rather than picking at flakes or rushing to scrub them off, and by the next morning my lips felt less rough and noticeably softer. Right after applying it, it felt as though a moist protective layer had formed over my lips, and they felt comfortable through the morning.
The product mentions collagen, peptides, and shea butter, but more than the ingredients themselves, I liked how easy it was to keep using as part of my bedtime routine.
Did it help before lip makeup, too?
I made a point of applying it the night before an important appointment or outing. When my lips are dry, the texture shows when I wear a matte lip product, but after smoothing my lips in the morning and then applying lip makeup, it felt like the finish looked a little neater.

What days was it good to use?
It was a nice extra step for days when lip balm alone felt insufficient, or when dry, flaky lips made me worry about lip makeup. I plan to keep using it as a lip-mask step at the end of my skincare routine.
