How is the white cast and skin finish?
I tend not to reach for sunscreens that feel stuffy or leave a heavy white cast. This one felt like it adhered thinly and transparently to my skin, and rather than making my complexion overly bright, it looked naturally refined.
What are the texture and finish like?
It is said to contain 75.28% hydrating essence. It felt moist as I applied it and finished fresh, as though I had put on a moisturizing cream. Since it is not sticky, I thought it would be fine for daily use even on hot days.
Can it be used on both face and body?
This is a product you can use on both your face and body. I did not have to pack separate face and body sunscreens, which was convenient when getting ready to go out or packing for a trip. I also found the feel generally suitable for the whole family to use.
How was it on sensitive skin and around the eyes?
My skin became sensitive after childbirth, so I tend to check ingredients. The product says it excludes 20 harmful ingredients according to Hwahae standards and has completed a low-irritation skin test. With regular use, I was able to wear it comfortably without a stinging or reddening feeling.
It is said to have completed an ocular mucosa irritation test. I usually apply sunscreen around my eyes too, and even when exercising or spending long hours out, I did not experience stinging eyes or the discomfort of my eyes watering.
Does it pill before makeup?
When I used it before makeup, it adhered thinly to my skin, and in my case I did not feel that my foundation lifted or pilled. It left a natural glow while feeling less greasy.
Did skin feel tight after long outdoor activities?
This product contains five ceramides. Even after long outdoor activities, I felt less tightness in my skin.
It is also said to contain niacinamide, a vitamin complex, Aquateca, and aloe vera leaf juice. While using it, I felt that my skin tone looked naturally more even.
Is it vegan certified?
It is presented as a vegan-certified clean beauty sunscreen. For me, the most practical points were its minimal white cast, its hydrating feel, and being able to use it before makeup without pilling.
